Frankenstein . . . Beautiful, artistic, creepy. I never had to read the book in high school, but my son said that he felt it was “loosely based” on the novel. Changes were made that he didn’t necessarily hate. And Jacob Elordi was surprisingly good as the monster.

Watched The Substance tonight. I thought it was great up until the last 15-20 minutes. Then again, I generally don’t like/appreciate horror movies. So maybe I am missing something. But, Demi Moore should 100% get that Oscar

This is why I call them the party of hate. Elez is an employee of a “government agency”. Instead of condemning his comments, JD Vance simply “disagrees” with him and wants to give him another chance. Even knowing that one of his posts was “normalize Indian hate”. He must be a really good hacker.

A stranger made my day by complementing my parallel parking. I’ve lived in the suburbs my entire life, so I rarely have to parallel park. He even began by asking if my car had one of those automatic park assists. He was an older gentleman, so I will give him some grace on it being kind of sexist.

Watched A Different Man on my flight because Sebastian Stan just won the Golden Globe and I had not heard of the movie so I was intrigued. I get why he won, but I thought the overall movie was just okay.

I love Adam Scott #benandleslieforever and his character on Loot is wonderfully douch-y (sp?). He plays these types of tools sooooooo well.
