This USA-Canada game is great. Easily the best "All Star Game" I've ever seen.

I was watching the postgame broadcast of the Utah Hockey Club game and they were talking about how much players loved living in Salt Lake City and how the team was on the rise, and how it has great ownership and direction.

I've never heard anything quite like this about the Jazz in my life 😂

The ideological battle between the tech oligarchs and middle/lower class MAGAs is something to behold.

I did think there was a good chance of a schism happening before the inauguration. I was correct!

The next 4 years are going to be wild lol

I wonder if our Artificial Superintelligent (ASI) digital overlords will treat us how we treat other animals who are less intelligent than ourselves.

If so, yikes 😬

I think at least half of my followers on here are bots.

Just goes to show that bots are here to stay, regardless of the platform.

Maybe it's time to just merge with them and become transhuman 🤖🏋️‍♂️

Idk if bird flu will become a pandemic for humans or not, but it's kind of crazy how common dairy products are in 2024 when we have an abundance of alternatives (and no need to breastfeed as adults anyway).

And diseases like bird flu are 100% avoidable and we just... Don't really seem to care.

Any thoughts about where things are headed?

The (alleged) healthcare CEO killers' personal details are just... I guess interesting? Strange? Wild? Idk what the right word is. Just such a weird story and series of events. I wonder what else we will find out about all of this!

The biggest change I've made in my life has been simple: Swap out animal proteins for plant based ones. It's been so much easier than I could've imagined.
One day we'll have to talk about how going vegan could tackle mass exploitation, deforestation, ocean dead zones, water waste, epidemics, illnesses, and environmental collapse. But for now, most of you seem happy pretending it’s not happening.

It does seem like we're in a 4th Turning period of history right now. The healthcare CEO getting whacked in Manhattan and the responses to it are just one example.

The old order is changing and we'll never go back. We're about to enter a new order of sorts.

Does anyone do "consulting/coaching" for tweaking/building a new at home workout plan?

I've been shaking up my workouts recently, trying to test some new things. I'd like someone to review where I'm at and what I can do to improve (what to add in/take out, etc).

I'd pay for assistance. Thoughts?

The history of the Presidential pardon is pretty wild. It started off with Washington pardoning 16 people, Adams pardoning 20, and Jefferson pardoning 119.

Since then, each President has pardoned 142+ people (except those who died in office and George H. W. Bush, who "only" pardoned 77 people).

I am trying to take public transportation more instead of driving. I am trying to eliminate my spending at Walmart and Amazon entirely. I am trying to use less plastic. I am trying to eat less meat and never get fast food. These tiny acts of resistance add up. I recommend you all try to do the same.
