When I travel to other cities, I'm reminded that @sfmta.bsky.social's bike infrastructure is at least 5-10 years outdated. Has been the case the 15 years I've lived in SF. MTA staff regularly see best practices and then come up with a laundry list of reasons they won't work in SF.

Our mayor is riding the 38 (seemingly without staff, but I'd imagine with his SFPD detail) on his first full day in office. A good sign for the future of public transit in SF.

SF desperately needs standardized city-wide parking reform. The current residential parking map is a random mishmash of zones. Should be a standard allowance to park 0.25 miles from your home address across the city. Get rid of arbitrary zones and increase coverage.

Status of biking in the Mission, while @sfmta.bsky.social's bike plan is years behind schedule and community meetings have been cancelled without reason.

I love exploring the stairs of San Francisco. Was so pleased to see new houses going in on these stairs. None of these houses has street access.

SFMTA is proposing a 7-lump speed cushion. They've managed to design a completely ineffective speed reduction tool (speed cushions), yet continue to install them throughout the city.
