A thing I believe is that governments should¹ pass laws banning the development or deployment of machinery that reads thoughts. The fact this technology does not exist makes it even more important it be illegal

Between forced rendition to another country (couched as "remigration") or the thinly veiled alternative (as in WW 2). Nobody ever did anything about it, not people, not law enforcement, not governments. And here we are. I'm vested in ensuring this doesn't take root in my own countries (🇨🇦 and 🇫🇷). 2/2

When the EU levies a fine against Twitter for deceptive advertising and fraudulent content because they allow marketing by fake Twitter accounts that scam Twitter consumers, Rubio goes through the roof— who calls the shots here?

My prediction post this new US national security strategy is that mid-level nations will start seriously exploring acquisition of nukes. It just makes sense. If the US is unreliable, & you’ve watched them fuck Ukraine, why wouldn’t you?
