This disgusting disablist treatment of those in society more vulnerable to mistreatment is indicative of how current British hate crime legislation is insufficient. Something so historically symbolic of inequality as refusal of service and violent abuse... (1/4)

It's not a difference of political opinions if the opposing side's opinion is that you aren't human or shouldn't exist. That's not how anything works.

I think Arcane is such an excellent example of a show which is bursting with exciting diversity. It's not performative, either. Complex lesbian relationships? Disability treated with respect? POC leaders? Trans characters? All written with care and complexity to enhance the already brilliant story.

Brilliant stuff from these two as always. Saw Exploding Heads live in Brighton when they were on tour, got hit in the head with a ball and whether it was the concussion (/j) or the wonderfully hilarious comedy and satire, I'd say it was the best comedy gig I've seen. Love to the family indeed! 😁
