Getting a snip is a steep enough price to pay imo.

They didn’t help with the case — it was mostly talks with my insurer and the HC provider — but I felt compelled to report it so hopefully others with similar experiences don’t just take the bill + threatening escalation at face value. Everyone in/around insurance was shocked at the situation.

I filed a report with the insurance commissioner as well per your recommendation after it was adjudicated. They sent bills from 2021 but had policy of not collecting past 2022, so it all just felt wrong.

Hey now, Lucy has been a big help. And I wouldn't be the most trustworthy source when it comes to wording and medical billing. I don't know if processing is the correct term; I just know I didn't receive a bill to my knowledge until this year for a service in 2021. I'm still trying to find out more

What do you mean by “acknowledging” any debt? Do you mean like over the phone with the provider? I haven’t had any correspondences with them beyond asking for itemized statement, so presumably I am clear since that is not an acknowledgement
