Still thinking a lot about Anthropic’s Agent Skills. There’s something profound here. They feel a bit like the Matrix, able to load arbitrary knowledge and skill on the fly into an agent.

It’s outrageous they’re killing innocent people, but we also need to stress, every time, that it would not really matter even it were absolutely certain that they were drug traffickers. Murdering criminals is still, you know, murder.
The government has killed 32 people in 7 strikes with no evidence they were traffickers. The admiral leading the mission quit. If we had proof, they’d face a court, not a drone.
The law still applies, even to suspected drug traffickers, and right now, the Administration’s story isn’t adding up.

Claude Skills seems like a super useful construct. On first blush, it feels like instead of giving someone a tool, giving them a whole manual and multiple tools to use together. Instructions, code to execute (i.e. a “tool”), and hierarchical relationships within the manual.
