Nothing is okay right now and I hate that I’m stuck in the position of mild-moderate desperation. But alas, the medical bills are growing, LA is a mess, the freelance market is scary, and I need to pull myself up.

Quick update: the fire near us has been contained 100%, so we're cautiously optimistic, at least in my neighborhood. I'm packing a bag for myself and the cats in case something flares up in the Hills and we're ordered to evacuate again.

Thanksgiving plans were canceled (boyfriend has shingles, we're keeping fingers crossed I don't get it, too). Would love something to keep me busy this weekend!
Hi hello hi! I am currently looking for work. Yes! Magazine decided to pause its print issue for 2025, so my time at Yes! as a fact-checker has ended for now. This was my last remaining steady gig and I'm still recovering from getting laid off last year from Spotify.
