My first thoughts on Ranger Rumble! The music quickly stood out to me, it felt like it was leaning towards the classic David Bergeaud stuff, which fans have been pining for for YEARS at this point. 1/4
I'm guessing the finger count has been lowered for this game's art style (which is in a simulation, so the simulation would itself have its own art style!)

I agree too. It's one of the things I disliked about the Life of Pi short. It demonstrated that the writers only saw R&C as an 80s-style cartoon where the plot doesn't matter. Which was true of the PS2 games, but for PS3 and RA especially they're more like modern shows that have meaningful stories.

Yeah, I've noticed the hardcore Ratchet fans take the story far more seriously than Insomniac themselves seem to. I get it, stories are good and important, but the lore being 100% important went out the window when they started ignoring Angela in 2007, haha.

Yeah. I'm very much in my era of just appreciating that stuff exists in the first place, which is why I'm not that pissed about the Disney+ era of Star Wars, y'know?

I've been around the block with this franchise, we went from the PS2 Trilogy to DL, SM and SAC, then from R&CF to A4O, FFA and ITN. So I'm not *too* worried about any hypothetical harm it does to the franchise overall. I like the idea of a third party coming in with their cool idea for a game.
