For Trump, it's all "showtime" wrapped in chaos and corruption, "solving" problems of his creation. Those tariffs? Canada announced its $1.3 billion plan in a December 24, 2024 press release. Mexico sent 10,000 troops to the border in 2019 and 2021, which caused border crossings to decrease by 50%.
