We salute you Melissa Hortman for speaking up when you did, and for giving your life for the system of democracy. We must not allow this to become acceptable. #8647

Important fire safety info everyone should know!
🚫🔥 One spark is all it takes.
Every year, wildfires start from everyday activities. CAL FIRE is asking everyone to do their part.
One less spark means one less wildfire. Be safe. Be fire smart.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

Happy Independence Day, TX-30.

Let this day be a reminder that democracy doesn’t protect itself.

We’ve got to keep showing up, speaking out, and standing firm—until freedom feels real for everyone.

Wishing everyone a happy Fourth of July!

249 years since we declared independence from a king, the work of living up to our founding promise is more important than ever - and it calls on each of us to do what we can for our country.

What’s the move folks?
Just 29% of us want this bbb … minority rule is cruel.

With fireworks now on sale across many parts of California, it's time to talk safety.
In California, fireworks spark hundreds of fires each year, putting lives, property, and natural resources at risk.

Is this what MAGA voted for? You want to make the rich richer while 99% of Americans suffer? Please explain…
How grotesque.

The Republican reconciliation bill cuts nutrition programs for hungry kids in order to give tax breaks to billionaires.

Good luck to my Republican colleagues in explaining the morality of that to their constituents.

Thanks for your vote of confidence…I guess?!

Unlike you, I’d actually be focused on the American people—the issues they’re facing, making sure folks have healthcare, and consulting with Congress before dropping bombs on another country.

Happy Juneteenth Fam!
May this troubling moment in US history be the turning point from away from white-supremacy and toward the real multicultural reality most of us are living and eager to embrace! #juneteenth

Tragically, the outrageous assault of Sen. Padilla today is becoming normal behavior for a Trump administration which is moving us toward authoritarianism.

The American people do not like petty tyrants. We defeated King George in 1776. We will defeat King Donald.

We believe that those with more in their cup should share with those who have less. When did it become fashionable to be greedy? The richest men in society laser focused on taking from the poorest? Income inequality is the wedge that cleaves our society.
If we can afford to give another $664 billion in tax breaks to the top 1% and spend over $1 trillion on the Pentagon, we can afford health care for the working people of this country.

Science is good for everyone. We all deserve good research. Support science and call your senators. Tell them you want to continue to live in a society that excels at research and discovery. #wearetheoneswevebeenwaitingfor
One problem we face today is how few people understand the science that helps us all. Some scientists are able to explain the importance of their work. @baym.lol of Harvard University is one of them. Science is for everyone, and benefits us all more than most people know.
