When we create art we tell a story. Art can be paintings, drawings, mosaics, quilts, posters, protest signs, digital art, documentaries, poetry, books, music, dance, etc. There is no wrong way to preserve history through art. You don't have to be a professional to encapsulate the feelings of today.

I've said this on threads and I will say it on here too. One of the most underrated, and yet very important, aspects of time during this administration is art. Art is resistance. Art is culture. Art will write the history of the current crimes against our country and the world.

Awards shows used to be so fun to watch. Maybe I lack the excitement because I haven't seen a lot of the things nominated because they are spread across multiple streaming platforms and I do not pay for every single one 🤷♀️.
