Absolutely, but it's the other way around. We trans people are considered inherently biased when dealing with our own issues, which must be considered from a "neutral" perspective. I've even seen people call out trans-friendly politicians because they had trans family, so their opinion didn't count.

i scan the menu for any non-brûlée item. the french omelette is brûlée. the steak fries - both are brûlée. eyes widen in terror. a patron asks for the check, is handed two separate blowtorches for signature and the tip. i go to scream and my mouth makes the most satisfying crackle i've ever heard

The reason Celsius allegedly doesn’t have a convenient “0% to 100% hot” like Fahrenheit is actually because Celsius users are objectively dominant and superior: Celsius is used across a wider range of climates so even if we had a 0 to 100 scale most people wouldn’t agree it was 0% to 100% hot

A lot of the newer apartment buildings in Sydney are quite poorly made and I think people are right to see living in one as risky compared to a more traditional red brick apartment building, but the building I'm in was completed in 2014 and I think this apartment is the best place I've ever lived

Take it from someone who stopped pursuing a career as a therapist when he realised he wasn’t fit to be what people needed him to be:

I keep seeing young trans people on social media talking about therapists disrespecting their pronouns and parents telling them that the therapist has a right to their beliefs.
I want to be clear: you have a right to the therapy room being a safe supportive space for YOUR growth.

I really really really hope Australians don't fall for all the reports like this that anti-trans hate groups are putting out at the moment. Like I could imagine my parents falling for something like this and thinking that they're being enlightened.
I really like this poem but also I feel like it's going to take me a while to fully form my understanding of what it means. I enjoy that, and maybe I should read more poetry.

I really like this poem but also I feel like it's going to take me a while to fully form my understanding of what it means. I enjoy that, and maybe I should read more poetry.
As much as I am not a Disney fan and I don't think you should spend money to watch this, I really really fucking loved Alien: Earth it was so so so good.
