It's #TransDayOfVisibility2025.

We're never going to be erased

Some people just can't accept that the world is so much bigger than their narrow little minds

They're going to have to learn to open their hearts and accept that their simple gender scripts were only ever the starter pack
'gender critical' thought is similar to 'climate change denial:' only tenable if you're willing to ignore a truly vast body of material evidence, gathered through multiple methods across many fields, with overwhelming scientific consensus.

Gender exists; it's not reducible to sex; it's not binary.

I'm going to talk a bit about how the Trump administration doesn't want the National Park Service to share anything about their visit data. Because it shows that they just had a record year and that people love the National Parks

National Parks Had a Record Year. Trump Officials Appear to Want It Kept Quiet.
As the administration fires rangers and other workers, an internal memo is directing the National Park Service not to publicize visitors numbers.

Does Bluesky have any kind of "ask me before people can follow" option? I'm glad to see more familiar faces here but some are not familiar!

Does anyone know a great example of a digital humanities #textmining project that uses collocation and word frequency analysis? For teaching purposes, so really needs good visualizations 📈
