The degree to which mainstream media has purposefully de-emphasized the impact and sheer scope of Trumpian anti-trans policies, such as talking about Trump forbidding "X" gender markers when birth certificates are literally being confiscated & passports are being denied altogether, is criminal.

⚠️ Marco Rubio’s recent memo constitutes not just a ban on trans athletes crossing the border; the language is so broad it extends to all transgender travellers to hit the US border. If my understanding of the wording is correct, most transgender people can no longer legally enter the United States.

If Trudeau was resigning because the Liberals failed on labour rights or preparing us for the future via UBI that would be one thing, but for it to be because the gov’t failed to fight foreign disinformation is horrific. Lives will get worse if Polievre is elected, and who will people blame then?

Puberty blockers were a compromise. Now that anti-science conservatives are coming after them, I no longer support blockers. Trans teens deserve to go through the puberty that corresponds with their actual gender identity. They deserve full HRT so they can go through puberty like every other teen.
