Tiny light, keep on shining, hold back the dark. Lives in Sicily with an embarrassing number of cats. Will post occasional pictures of cats, Sicily and food. Was mostly offline, then kittens arrived.

Smol. How it started: 52g. One third of the size of the other kittens. Mum didn't lick him. I saved him and protected his feed from Minty and did 2 hourly feeds.
How it's going: 1.8kg, happy little kitten. His siblings are around 2.5kg so he is still SMOL

I do Italian study every day. Not a lot, but at least 10 mins of reading, listening to part of a podcast, doing exercises on busuu. Today I just really cba. I want to make cultural references people get, make people laugh and generally not feel that half my personality has disappeared, Grumpy.

Not that I'm overprotective of Smol (am) but the boys are being sterilised - 2 this Friday, 2 next and he is going to be the last one done and the vet has promised to check him over carefully first.

Just got a little bit raised voice about Brexit again. No you do not need my residence permit because they are not mandatory for UK citizens who lived in Italy before the UK shot itself and caused me administration nightmares FOR YEARS.

I swear the cats are trying to give ne a heart attack so they can eat me. This was last night (no idea how she got up there, had to get the step ladder to get her down) and tonight Worf jumped up onto the stove and knocked a pan of oil (thankfully only just gone on) over her and the floor.

Spent some time updating my "what I've read this year" list and sorting out the kindle, marking books read and getting it to filter by unread. My unread (on kindle) total is *drumroll* 56. I would promise not to load more books on it before I read those but we all know it would be a lie.
