It’s impossible that the lawyers would have made these representations to the government without Adams’s knowledge, although he denies it. Straight up corruption, & certainly reason enough to get him removed, if the governor does indeed have the power.

Strangely enough the Kennedy Center debacle is what has made me convinced to call Trump a dictator. The politicization of a cultural institution formerly above politics, the self-appointment as head & subsequent “unanimous election” by toadies, the intent to control artistic presentations. Dictator.

As Sen Murphy & many others have explained, they can’t “grind it to a halt”. All they can do is delay the inevitable, & hopefully get Americans to care about these horrible nominees. The senators admit all of Trump’s cabinet will be confirmed. But the Dems can raise awareness & warn the public.
