I would really like there to be an acknowledgment of harms caused by all our legislation (and lack of legislation). A basic, respectful honesty.

yes twitter sucked because of all the maga/nazi chuds, but an underrated amount of that was them barging in on talk abt movies, books, art, food, whatever. they infected every aspect of it, so if u were black, jewish, queer, trans, whatever, you couldn’t just live your digital life w/o dealing w it

If you're new to bluesky, we're trying to make it the norm that we all add alt text. You can toggle your settings to remind you every time you try to post an image. If you've not used alt text before, the point of it is for people who use screen readers (for vision problems but maybe other reasons?)
