Have just been for a 5k run but it is VERY COLD and there is sleet everywhere. I am now sat hugging a hot water bottle and am dosed up on paracetamol and ibuprofen. I had covid two weeks ago and can’t work out if it’s covid related or the cold of the run. I need to be right for #parkrun this weekend

So Zoe Ball is stepping down from Radio 2’s breakfast show and they are giving it to Scott Mills. Radio 2 has turned into such a boring station made up of comedians hosting or ex Radio 1 dj’s. They seriously need to bring in new talent. It’s a yawn fest

Just over 1 year on and I completed the Brigg 10K poppy run 2 weeks ago. 🏃♂️ 🏃♂️ 🏃♂️
I now religiously run 5k, three times a week and it has been the greatest exercise pleasure I’ve ever had. Park Run is dopamine in an outdoor setting and I cannot
believe that I can seriously say, “I love running”

You could literally walk faster 😂
That said, did Park Run last Saturday ( same runtime btw) and I LOVED it. Husband did his in 24:38 and BOUGHT A SODDING T-SHIRT

Last yr I set up an +45’s men’s footy team. I’ve learned there are 3 types of player:
1. The stalwart who will play even with a broken leg
2. The moaner who moans about a sore finger, size of the pitch, the rain, the ball, someone pushing him
3. The player that never remembers his subs
Any more?

Ok, did it. Did my first ever Park Run. 42:53. That was obvs a combination of 1 min run and walking etc. My face was so red I thought I’d burst a blood vessel. BUT, I bloody did it and I bloody loved it. 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️
