This one is taking me awhile to rope in my fury. So, being a person of color working in a low wage job is considered reasonable cause to detain (or disappear) a person in America. What a slide to our loss of rights.
In light of today’s SCOTUS decision, every person of color with an accent in the US should probably carry proof of citizenship with them at all times - while working and everywhere they go. If you don’t want to be in a detention facility awaiting a friend or relative to bring it.

Glad to see Chicago turning out for this. Many heroes and democracy defenders have been through this base. Shame on ICE for usurping this National Historic treasure for this anti American activity. Especially because it is the principal Naval Training Center in American history for new recruits.

So in Cali we have rules about carrying weapons publicly. Had anyone asked the people (agents?) outside Gavin Newsom’s announcement to make sure they aren’t random peeps with guns? Outside the press release of the governor of the (4th or 5th) largest economy in the world?

Beyond fed up with GOP reps who have PLENTY of time for hits on right wing media but repeatedly respond to questions from Media on the hill about the budget with “haven’t read the bill yet; don’t have an answer.” Just be honest and plead complete stupidity and negligence.

I read this article yesterday. Very sad but very compelling. Kudos to George Black for revisiting this 40 year old crime. History of American influence in Latin American politics. Definitely worth a read.
