Today was full of "Giving Tuesday is tomorrow" emails. Sigh. I'm looking forward to "Welcome back to Inbox Normal Wednesday" (it's not a thing, I just made it up....)
For a long time I've disliked all the Giving Tuesday emails. For some reason this year it seems like I've been getting a ton of "Giving Tuesday is coming-- be ready!" emails and it's just too much....

Well I'm reasonably sure all of this is baseball related... and frankly surprised "balls" only shows up twice then. "Negro" is definitely related to the Negro Leagues in KC that I visited earlier this year. And I'm pretty sure the last one was Shohei related when he did.... something...insane

It feels like each year I know who fewer and fewer of the musical acts or balloon characters are on the Macy's parade. It would be an even smaller number if I weren't teaching kiddos who talk about some of these characters!

I just turned on the Today show for the first time in forever and one of the first commercials I saw was telling illegal aliens to self deport. Ugh. I'd expect a commercial like that on Fox but not NBC.

Today was *a day* but I'm glad the rain wasn't quite as bad as it could have been. And I'm also glad I can now enjoy the rain from inside and under blankets and I don't have to wrangle children til Monday.

It's a weird vibe to have worked a normal Monday but to have tomorrow off because of Veteran's Day. Wednesday might feel a lot like a second Monday this week. Bleh.

I dropped my ballot in a drop box on Saturday. Realized last night I hadn’t gotten confirmation my ballot was received. Just put my info in the tracking website and it was counted (dated today interestingly) so hooray!
