My 1st grader was asked to create a map of important places. In addition to the library and Cedar Lake beach she drew her interpretation of the improved intersection at Lyndale/Hennepin in front of the Basilica. (the triangles are the medians/corners and the rectangles are the crosswalk hashing)

Hot! My kid and another little girl showed off to each other that they could recite the Lord's Prayer so that was nice. Also got a great pic of my dad.
