Schools are not supposed to teach you tax preparing. They are supposed to prepare you to teach yourself tax preparing. And how to do simple maths so you can create a budget. Workforce skills are just good habits/not being a lazy slough who can't put a phone down.

Having face shingles.... for MONTHS was way worse than getting the vaccine... (Shingrix?) anyhow... It was a 2 shot routine each one a few months apart. It didn't slow me down.

I have found the Pfizer vax for Covid has less side effects than the Moderna... probably because it is smaller. But it is just a day... a day I rest and have soup. Way better than suffering for 2 weeks with a virus.

I am going to try and maximize my pretax deductions from my biweekly pay (health insurance, FSA, retirement etc. --if you have kids pretax childcare costs, 529 program, etc.) and then estimate what total income will be and adjust withholding to the bare minimum.

I used the IRS Direct File last January. It was way easier and less expensive than TurboTax. What a bunch of assholes.
