It always surprises me how emotional I get when I've been away from WoW for awhile. I made a new toon tonight after being away for a few months. It always does feel like home. #WorldofWarcraft

The destruction of the White House is vandalism, pure and simple. *I* find it offensive, and I'm not even American. My heart goes out to all of you who are. As if destroying the Rose Garden wasn't enough.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in Canada. I made my dinner today, even though it's just me here: turkey pot pie, roasted veg (potato, yam, carrot), roasted acorn squash and stuffing. I'm tired but full and it was a great dinner.

I'm really going to miss The Sims. It's been a comfort game for a long time, but the last couple of days I have launched the game and then quit without doing anything. I've lost my enthusiasm and desire to play. I guess I really am done. #EATakeover

I've been chilled all day today - fall is definitely almost here. 🍂 I made a big hearty pot of soup, with ham, sausage, barley and some other goodies. It was the wonderful warming meal I needed. 🍲

Just heard my noisy neighbor upstairs is going to be moving this weekend - and that the suite is already rented, so no renovations in the interim. The landlord's projects around the place are usually less in the winter, so hopefully things are about to get much better. 😌

We got the rain! It was absolutely pouring for an hour or so last night and we are supposed to get more today. I took my coffee outside a second ago and it's just starting to rain again, just a very light drizzle right now. ☕🌦️

Dreams are funny. I dreamed about some old friends of my Mom's last night. I haven't thought about them in years. I wonder what might have made me subconsciously think about them that they turned up in my dreams.

Things have gotten better with my housing. I'm reconsidering whether I want to move. The leak appears to have been fixed & the upstairs neighbors have been better with music, so the biggest issues may have been addressed. There are still some annoyances, but I'm not sure it's the best time to go.

28C (82F) here right now - this is about 6 degrees cooler than this time yesterday, but you wouldn't know it. Today is lots of leftovers (so I don't need the oven) and lots of iced coffee.

This is a logistical nightmare. Like he said, how tf does one glitch bring an entire, massive airline to a screeching halt? I have a massive fear of flying. This is not going to help it any.

Thinking November 1 for the move. 60 days (October 1st) feels too soon and December feels too long. So split the difference and plan to give my notice at the end of September.
