Mine is a 1946 singer featherweight sewing machine my parents got for me over 20 years ago from 'large item pickup', so pretty much the trash.
What thing do you own that has lasted for decades, and still works perfectly?
We all have things - clothes, electronics, furniture - that has unexpectedly lasted for decades. But most of our stuff falls apart annoyingly quickly.
