Not surprising. A whole lot of younger people voted against an old guy who DJT labeled "Sleepy Joe," and he guaranteed an economic boom on "Day One." Instead, young voters got an even sleepier, and far more disorganized old guy as the economy slides downward.
Pollster: Trump's net approval rating among voters under the age of 30 is going into a deep, dark black hole. Look at that, -46. That is a shift on the net approval of 56 points in the wrong direction since February. We almost never see drops this big, this quickly.

Donald Trump is killing our judicial system, killing our constitution. Killing the laws based on that Constitution.

I think I see the problem, he took a oath to execute the laws.

And he's killing them off one by one.

There is no legitimate reason not to release the complete Sep. 2 video.

They released video of the first strike. What national security justification could there be for releasing video of the first part of the action but not the second? They wanted to cover up what happened after the first strike.

According to a new study, members of Congressional leadership perform 47% better in stock market trades than their rank-and-file peers, thanks to access to nonpublic information.

Today would be a great day to ban ALL elected officials from trading stock, don't you think?

The whole point of the FTC is to be insulated from political pressure.

Yet Trump is asking his MAGA Justices to re-write the rules for him so he can pick loyalists.

He says he should be able to fire anyone, anytime, for any reason.

If they let him, there’s no going back.

This is how nearly EVERY conversation I have had with MAGA goes. The MAGA mindset is about ideology. Ideology = opinion, or values, or beliefs. Not facts.
So you give them the facts. Then crickets. Til the next false claim. It's tiresome and generally (to me) feels like a waste of time.
Thx, Jack.

The bottom 90% lost a collective $79 trillion in wages over the past 50 years.

Why? Because the top 1% ate up an increasingly larger share of the national income — so that $79 trillion flowed to them instead of the working class.

The greatest trick of all is trickle-down economics.

The boat was split in half. 9 men were dead. 2 more clung to a floating piece of wreckage and tried desperately to flip it over for 41 minutes straight. There was no possible way they were going anywhere.

Then they were killed in cold blood by the U.S. military.

For Criminal Prez, life isn't hard enough for trans and intersex people. "Experts .. have repeatedly sounded the alarm about any rollbacks to protections for trans people behind bars given the disproportionate violence and abuse they face [12x greater] from prisoners and prison officials alike."
BREAKING: Trump administration plans to end prison rape protections for trans & intersex people, memo says. A DOJ memo says certain standards under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) do not align with Trump’s Jan. 20 anti-trans executive order, @byadamrhodes.bsky.social reports.

Agree with this thread. Worth reading in full.

25 years ago John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh, and AC Barrett all worked on GWBush's 2000 Florida recount team. What they're doing now is, if anything, more nakedly partisan.

Fire-breathing dissent by Kagan, with Sotomayor and Jackson.
They're not even trying to appear nonpartisan anymore.
#BREAKING: Over dissents from the three democratic appointees, #SCOTUS puts Texas's new House maps back into effect for (and, presumably, through) the 2026 midterms.

The three Democratic appointees, in an opinion by Justice Kagan, dissent.

I'll post the ruling shortly.

It's good—very good, and very important—that district courts keep issuing these 100-page rulings upholding the law. It must be incredibly dispiriting to see them overturned in a two-page, lawless, unsigned order, but please, keep them coming. They expose SCOTUS' corruption like nothing else.

Decent fellow, decent language, decent model. It is refreshing to listen to him when we are floating in so much trash talk.

"What's really important is the rate of sea level rise.

It's generally viewed that once you get above ~7-10mm per year, so that's something that will happen in the 2nd half of this century, that's when it becomes really very very challenging to adapt to"
