I have one browser (Chrome) with no adblock and split-tunneled to not be behind a VPN, which I use for banking, paying utilities, and shopping from some known stores.

I am constantly amazed at how many of these websites—with nothing blocked on the most popular web browser!—simply fail to work.

I have (finally) updated my Now Page: www.katherineincode.com/now/

Though this is really just a reminder to myself that I really ought to find something interesting to blog about on my blog. And to keep it slightly more updated; I had to wrangle jekyll (again) just to update this!

One of those interesting (unfortunate?) side effects of using a bunch of starter packs is that who I follow is largely unvetted by me.

This is a classic blog post of the kind that made me love the internet.
If you haven’t had the pleasure, you should double back and read the comments on this post from readers who have noticed things everyone else hasn’t. Not surprised to have gathered a community of extreme noticers. [kottke.org]

It would be cool if `swift` was available with macOS by default. Now that all the cool scripting languages are not part of the OS anymore, why not a somewhat recent Swift runtime?

Hi, I'm Katherine! I do iOS stuff at Bitwarden! You might catch me talking about things ranging from #iOSDev to #Nintendo on here, though I mostly just lurk and occasionally repost or reply to stuff.

Nice to meet you!
