Just your casual Sunday giving the address at Suffolk’s annual justice service at St Edmundsbury Cathedral. I spoke about how, if we are to transform the care system, we need optimism, hope and a belief that something better is possible

It was a privilege to give evidence in Parliament on the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill yesterday alongside the brilliant @markrusselluk.bsky.social and @lynnanneperry.bsky.social Together we were clear about the scale of change needed to give all children the best start in life.

Very proud that the brilliant @becomecharity.bsky.social team have been nominated for not one but two awards at the #CYPNow awards tonight alongside some other excellent charities. Gooooo team!

Such an honour to be at the launch of Baroness Lola Young’s memoir about her childhood in care. She is a true inspiration, using her experience and platform to raise awareness and call for change for care-experienced children and young people

Great to be at the launch of these essays hearing from some brilliant charity leaders setting out a vision for the future of charities and the bigger role we could play in shaping a fairer & more equitable society
