I'll be at #IpswichBookFestival talking about my prize-listed novel, #TheLowRoad @eyebooks.bsky.social, based on a true story from my East Anglian hometown. It tells the story of a Norfolk girl transported to Australia as a convict and is a tale of love, grief, betrayal - and solidarity. #Convicts

Delighted to share that I am on the shortlist for the New Angle Prize for Literature 2025. The Low Road takes a true story from my Norfolk hometown about an orphan girl who was transported to Australia. My publisher, Unbound, has gone bust, so if you want to buy my book, please contact me.
