Want to see a 90 year old scam letter? This was in our airing cupboard! Claims to be from a Spanish relative who’s been imprisoned for “a noble and just political cause”, and offers a share of £31000 that in exchange for looking after his daughter. It’s a version of many of today’s scam emails!

Went to visit the cottage where Coleridge and his wife Sarah lived for 3 years. It was fun to see, though it left me thinking that: 1, being the subject of reverence in your lifetime and beyond is just bad for people. 2, I kinda felt sorry for Coleridge. 3, I felt extra sorry for his wife.
