This was a good night to stay home and finish listening to my audiobook. I found it a bit dated (1968) but still well worth the listen. I understand Spain much better.

I have finished my first ever #Weaving project on the #3dPrint loom that my dear made for me. There are mistakes in the weaving, but I learned a lot. I made it from leftover sock #Yarn scraps.

I read it in HS, and around that time saw the old 60's Brit film. But listening now, at age 68, I realize just how much more there was to this book. It was an incredible way to spend my day today, hearing Ray Bradbury's genius sing through in Fahrenheit 451. And Tim Robbins was a wonderful narrator.

Looks incredibly unimpressive, but this is my first attempt at weaving on the backstrap loom I made from scraps around my apartment, and leftover sock wool. It looks like shit but I am very proud of it. #Weaving #BackstrapLoom

There is a small store near my home that sells imported jewelry findings. I bought a few things for my current embroidery project.

Somehow I think there might be some meaning misunderstood in the translation from Chinese to English. 😳

I have never been thanked for shopping quite like this.

I just finished the 3rd Vol of William L. Shirer's autobiography, Twentieth Century Journey. I listened to the audiobooks, but however you choose to experience it, this is an *excellent* read. It will give you a much better understanding of how we got to this place in history. A great read!

I can make really nice fitted socks on the machine. Totally seamless toe. The yarn used here is Aktiv, nice yarn that I can buy already on a cone, which the machine requires.

This year my biggest project, starting in July, was to send as many pairs of wool socks suitable for soldiers to Ukraine. I ended up sending 60 pairs of various sizes. #Ukraine #socks #KnittedSocks #SockKnitting

I have done quite a bit of searching on here but I can't seem to find my circular sock knitting machine peeps. Maybe they are just not here yet.

This is mine. Y'all let me know if you see anybody, OK?
