It’s getting late but I still made day 4 of #AdventOfTinyTales !
#AdventOfTinyTales 4: Tavern NO. Erica hoped her short but emphatic text was enough to keep her friends quiet. Should she go out with them? Perhaps. But she had just finished working a ten-hour shift after six days in a row, and all she wanted was her sweats, a drink, and her book. Throwing on her favorite hoodie, Erica popped the top off a Guinness. She smiled as The Parting Glass played from her speakers, her pub playlist set on random. She switched on her electric fireplace and grabbed her fleece comforter. Contentedly she curled up on her couch for a cozy night in.

#AdventOfTinyTales 3: Wisdom Karey couldn’t believe she forgot her phone at home. Of course today she wanted to call everyone, or anyone. She couldn’t peek on her pup at daycare; she couldn’t update her fantasy hockey lineup; and she couldn’t listen to her book on her commute. Additionally, she always kept her phone in her back pocket, so she spent all day just touching her butt. She sighed. If there’s one thing she should’ve remembered, it’s that during a Mercury retrograde you ALWAYS double check travel plans, proofread emails before you send them, and for the love of the goddess don’t forget your phone.

#AdventOfTinyTales 2: Burden “Yo, sorry to bother you but can you help me or what?” Fingers snapped in Violet’s face and she looked up, startled. “I zoned out; sorry for the trouble.” “No worries,” the teenager said. “But if it’s no difficulty I need a one-way ticket to Sacramento.” “Absolutely!” Violet started the transaction. “What takes you to Cali?” The teenager rolled their eyes, responding, “I have the misfortune of being born cursed. My mom has a drinking problem, my dad nags the whole family, and I’m done being a burden.” Violet smiled brightly, handing over the ticket. “Amazing, have a great trip!”
