I'm sorry to tell you this, but your cat seems to have been living a double life as my cat. 😱

Spotted near Portsmouth Central Station today.

There are people in this world who are happy to wear a billion pounds as a hat while other starve.

Good morning from Hermes. 😊

See this cat? He tricked me into feeding him an hour early again, and now the actually thinks I’m going to feed him again. The cheek of it!

Hermes squeezing himself into the smallest possible space between my leg and my keyboard instead of, for instance, the completely empty sofa.

Trying to get through to eBay customer services is bleak. This reply seems designed to make me feel infinitely small and insignificant, and it worked. 😥

Hermes among the crochet wools.

Cats ARE nice, especially mine, and I don't care what happens to me after I'm dead. Have at it. Hermes, is what I say to that.

Anyone else getting a follows from random billionaires who want to give away a lot of money? I've had three so far, and one of them appears to be the same person twice.

My faithful friend, with me all day and all night.
November 24, 2024 at 10:36 AM
Sitting over there, peeking at me, purring to yourself.
November 24, 2024 at 8:17 AM
Hermes was cold (aren’t we all!) so I made him a nest with his blanket between my crochet wools - I think he likes it!

Threads.

He was 3 minutes late yesterday, so he’s making up for it by being 3 minutes early today.
November 21, 2024 at 4:58 PM
He gets dinner at 5.00 and he didn’t arrive until 5.03 - I’m disappointed! 😁

I felt the underside of my beautiful mouse peeling off, and my heart stopped. I almost couldn’t bear to turn it over and look, and the relief I felt when I realised the protective plastic had been left on for the last 6 months is indescribable!
November 20, 2024 at 4:40 PM
Hermes trying to insinuate himself into the tiny space between my arms and my keyboard, in order to make the maximum nuisance of himself.
November 20, 2024 at 10:01 AM
Hermes sulking because my lap is full of keyboard and not him.
November 20, 2024 at 8:49 AM
I had a sliver of wood lodged there from mending my daughter’s mirror, and they gave me some weird jelly-like plasters that they said wood draw it out. Three days later this tiny little nuisance poked out enough for me to get hold of. The plasters work!

I’ve been to the dentist and the walk-in clinic (my splinter is finally out!) and look who’s here to greet me.

Half my posts have been about my cat, but I haven't properly introduced him. This is Hermes; he's been a very kind master these past 15 14 years or so, except when it comes to dinner times.

The instructions for my antibiotics, probably. It’s my fault for asking for large print on the labels.

I do. I might sometimes chafe under the tyranny of my cat Hermes, but most of the time I'm a willing slave. 😁
November 17, 2024 at 11:39 AM
My cat won't even tolerate a collar. I've bought him several, but he's managed to get rid of them all. He's just not having it.
