I felt the underside of my beautiful mouse peeling off, and my heart stopped. I almost couldn’t bear to turn it over and look, and the relief I felt when I realised the protective plastic had been left on for the last 6 months is indescribable!

I had a sliver of wood lodged there from mending my daughter’s mirror, and they gave me some weird jelly-like plasters that they said wood draw it out. Three days later this tiny little nuisance poked out enough for me to get hold of. The plasters work!

Half my posts have been about my cat, but I haven't properly introduced him. This is Hermes; he's been a very kind master these past 15 14 years or so, except when it comes to dinner times.

My cat won't even tolerate a collar. I've bought him several, but he's managed to get rid of them all. He's just not having it.
