After a very busy few weeks (the indie film industry is still thriving despite to the global downturn in filmmaking!), I walked into my 'bigger back garden' last night, which is in Sussex as I'm right on the border and all I could hear was the beautiful song of the skylarks. Perfectly wonderful!

Police have cordoned off a small area near Happy Valley just before the steps down to the hermits cave. Two police officers there.

Seems strange that the council want all outdoor seating packed away at 11pm, it'll all just be brought out again in the morning so object defeated. I agree with removal of the furniture by The Buzz, its too big

I'm back in Manchester today for a tv commercial shoot, just the one character to do but I've already done a test day so today will be stress-free. Looking forward to tomorrow as making the most of being somewhere different and visiting Haddon Hall with tickets for the Mercatum (Christmas market)

Gregg Double G Wallace's latest remarks is clearly misogynistic and proves what sort of man he is. If I were to make remarks on set similar to his comments to men, I would never work in the industry again so I blame the people around him and the producers for allowing it to happen.

Today's a learning day - back in the online classroom with a course through my union @bectu.bsky.social Today I'm learning more about makeup for medium to deep skin tones, hoping for some good pointers to the best brand to use so that my kit always has the best of everything.

Oh how my life has changed! Just treated myself to a mini chainsaw so I can lop off all the overhanging branches in my garden instead of attempting (and failing sometimes) to saw them off with my old handsaw.
Can't wait to use it! Simple pleasures eh?!

Drove back late from E Sussex last night, the roads were strewn with leaves & branches but no fallen trees. Wondering what it's like out there this morning. Going to head out for a walk as I love the wind -bit like a horse, it makes me frisky 🤣
