Her quack, however, is still loud as hell (a distinctly hen trait). I've read that females which reverse to male often get a raspier drake voice, but idk if that ALWAYS happens. She has always been the flock's spokesduck so it'd honestly be nice if her demands for treats weren't so dang loud.

Just trying to figure out if my gal Daphne is becoming my guy Daffy. She(?) has probably stopped laying eggs and has recently developed a drake curl on her tail (since this photo was taken in spring). My poor drake doesn't even have a curl right now!

Didn't know this was niche. It was a common lesson in my evangelical childhood that not taking the cart back was failing at being an ambassador for Christ and saving souls from damnation. I believe it. It seemed like for a brief period, evangelicalism was taken back by the purity movement backlash and sort of ...rebranded the same messages with less abrasive language. But that was a decade or more ago, and yeah the vicious anti-trans campaign has taken center stage since then.

I'm too anxious a person to have ever thought It Can't Happen To Me, but I'm more shocked than ever this happens at all to anyone.
