I love taking the train. The conductors are all amazing. The Hartford line for the last few months (at least) is a mess. Not being able to rely on arrival/departure times and this morning, even having a train, is brutal. Fare increase? I don’t think so. 🫠

Did the community engagement and grant writing with Charlotte Sappo in 2020, got it in 2022, and now in summer of 2025 there is going to be a sidewalk that connects the high school to the town hall campus/library! 😱😁

The Shoreline East bill comes up in the CGA Transportation Committee public hearing this week and I love to show this slide from ConnDOT from the 2022 CT Commuter Rail Council (now known as CT Public Transportation Council). SLE is the only line that has NOT had their service restored post-COVID.

CT DEEP EVs versus E-Bikes - Program statistics are updated monthly for the EV portion of the CHEAPR program. E-Bikes - are updated periodically (meaning we have ZERO current data on the second round which looks to be the final round absent any commitment from the Commissioner).

They can start with the 255 and stand in that little red circle, or if they are feeling mobile enough, they can climb over the barrier and try not to fall into the ditch. Good luck because drivers often excessively speed and run the lights at that intersection.
