Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

The shittiest ever Supreme Court continues its hit streak.

Today, they struck down the 4th Amendment. Now there will be no one left to speak for you when they unlawfully search and seize you.

We need a general strike. Shut the country down until we get it back.

"A lot of people are saying maybe we'd like a dictator,” says Trump. And indeed some victims of right-wing brainwashing think dictators can “get things done.”
What they don’t understand is that dictatorships are often incompetent. A thread. 1/ 🧵🧵🧵

This is great! Can we do cancer research next?**

**Yes, I agree: SO many things we could target. Am picking cancer research b/c I can pay out of pocket for a COVID vaccine if I have to, but Kickstarting oncology research seems... a lot trickier? (Gift link)

I want more folks to know about libro.fm as an alternative to Audible or Spotify or other shady corps.

It’s 100% employee-owned and works like Audible, except your credits support an indie bookstore of your choosing instead of Amazon.

Go listen to a disabled author for Disability Pride Month! 💙📚
Same audiobooks. Different story.
Libro.fm makes it possible for you to buy audiobooks directly through local bookstores.
