Recovering school administrator. I like my stories lyrical, sometimes absurd, with usually with a dash of humor and hope. My existential dread wears sparkly shoes to arm-wrestle institutions that forget they're made of people.
I am not going to say that the story *healed* a certain memory, as that’s too much to ask of any work of fiction, but just being able to put the feeling into words, and feeling SEEN by it…damn. That’s the first, important step. Your writing is beautiful. Never stop.
