No DLA or PIP or Attendance Allowance, then no Carer’s Allowance.
The government have not thought this through.
The denied claimant will still have the same care needs and expenses as before, but their carer will also lose entitlement to their meagre benefit too.

Do they even realise that removing entitlement to PIP also removes a carer’s entitlement to Carers Allowance?
Pushing people off PIP because they’ve changed the rules will not also remove their care needs.

PIP is not an "out of work benefit". A lot of what people use PIP for is to actually help them work. Making it harder to access will mean fewer people get genuine, rather than political soundbites, support. It is going to devastate lives. This is a cruel and pointless policy which only causes harm.
