This is scary and dangerous. That the president would say (or even imply) that the federal government is going to war against and American city.

Not the same mail carrier, but since we could all use some more reminders of the many good people making our communities special, here is the letter. Written in May 2020… when sending letters (with lots of stickers) had been a main activity of my 3-year-old for several months.

I’m currently in a similar situation with the mini poodle. It’s great.

Strong start to the week with getting to ride to work on the bus adorned by Planned Parenthood information.

This ball of fluff has completely snuggled her way into my heart and has become an essential part of my emotional wellbeing.

I just spent an hour out there! The ice trail is a little shorter than a few weeks ago, but still so fun. Not sure who made the trail this time.

Found some real joy today with a wild ice track that some wonderful person cleared on the lake by my house.

Current POV. My mini poodle sleeping on my chest. We got our pup 2.5 years ago. First dog I’ve ever had. I’m grateful for her every day. I’ve been deep in the sandwich generation phase of life in the midst of wild political times for years now. This little pooch keeps me grounded.

Very hard week. But a saving grace is my brother visiting and helping with some of the parent caregiving. Plus we got to have some one-on-one time in our matching denim shirt/glasses outfits.🧡
