We've had a wonderful week touring Morocco from Marrakech to the Sahara. Today has been a chill day by the pool before heading home. By listening to @podsaveamerica.crooked.com and Electoral Dysfunction and reading this, am I easing myself home?

Great to join the #Kingswells litter pick this morning. We focused on the park & ride. Thanks to all the volunteers out and about keeping the village tidy #cleanupaberdeen

This morning, I attended the Aberdeen civic prayer breakfast. The Rev Poobalan, chaplain of @robertgordonuni.bsky.social spoke about the work of Homewards Aberdeen to address homelessness in the city.

I think I have only one follower on here that lives in my ward, but this was a wee win that made me happy today! The Council marked out a bus stop on Stronsay Drive. Buses will be able to stop at the kerb and elderly residents will be able to get on more easily. #publictransport

Headed to the Mela in #Aberdeen this afternoon. Great atmosphere with good food and entertainment. Lots of families enjoying themselves. The Mela always an example of what a wonderful, inclusive and diverse city Aberdeen is.

Cycled to the city centre for planning training this morning. On the way home, there was a cyclist playing music through a speaker as he cycled. He wasn't a teenager, but a lycra clad man in his 30s or 40s. Is this a thing? Disco on a bike? #cycling

Great experience on Saturday at Aberdeen runway run. It is somewhat peculiar though to run in the dark at midnight in a straight line! Weird, but good!
The run supported two fantastic, local charities, Fersands & Fountain community project and Abernecessities. Thank you to everyone who sponsored me.

The most uplifting event of the year is The Big Sing 💕 Well done to all the pupils taking part and to @aberdeencc.bsky.social music service for organising 👏👏

My first flat tyre of the bike bus meant I ran the route to school rather than cycled!!
Not so #activetravel

This afternoon, Nestrans held a briefing on Aberdeen Rapid Transit. It was great to hear from Robin Totten of the Belfast Glider. The strategic business case is out soon. The proposed route is through my ward and as a bus user, I'm excited about the benefits this could bring. #SustainableTransport

Not so many on the Countesswells bike bus this morning. Maybe the impact of two days off school! Always a great start to a Wednesday, though. #ActiveTravel #BikeBus

So the teenager has gone all retro bought himself a CD player and rifled through his parents' CDs that had been consigned to the garage. First CD on the new player is one of his Mum's absolute favourites - Power in Numbers by Jurassic 5 ❤️

At the beautiful Cowdray Hall for the concert with Big Noise Torry @bignoisescotland.bsky.social A wonderful performance from some amazing young people 👏👏
I hadn't realised how many kids they work with in Torry - 800 in total. Fantastic job. The man beside me sang along to the Pink Floyd number!

For Mother's Day, I went to Starlight Express. Steam with Hydrogen won the day in the race of the trains. Not sure, when they updated the musical, the writers had read the 7th carbon budget, which doesn't see much role for hydrogen in surface transport. #netzero

At my surgery at #Kingswells this afternoon, Brian was showing me the progress on the community garden. Nice to see the planters and benches going in.
Looking forward to the community garden launch on 25th April.
