I am a climate scientist and this is correct ⬇️
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

So one of my main troubles with baking (there are many) is that when I want to bake the butter hadn’t been softened and by the time it is the inclination has often passed.

I agree. It makes me think of the ways we talk about community as a place of extraction for upliftment of self. The idea of others supporting the one but not the reciprocity of that support. Or that reciprocity being a fond remembrance like an attaboy for helping me. Instead of an even exchange.

I bought a power drill, my first ever. Rawr.

It’s from the local Ace which is an ESOP, second chance employer, and part of the employee ownership & cooperative ecosystem. Yay!

Where you buy matters—think about Small Business Saturday after the holiday folks!

Ok intro, at least partial. I support small business development through social, environmental, and economic justice oriented programs. I am also an artist (for fun not for sale). I have 2 cats; they are cute. I live car free.
