I read "disobey" as something more harsh than mere Thoreau kind of civil disobedience. Maybe it wasn't meant that way.

I am not at all suggesting that Jan 6'ers were in the right, I am suggesting that they were (something like) brainwashed and believed the election was stolen and they had no recourse.

B/c that is what we (who can read the Constitution) are saying now -- we have to resort to something harsh.

The problem I have with this is Jan 6 rioters generally believed that's exactly what they were doing. They didn't realize they were just stupid pawns being manipulated by a grifting creep.
