This guy has been failing upward his entire life. And now his astonishing incompetence is being visited upon all of us.

It is so tragic.
Soon, the majority of government shutdown days *in all of US history* will have happened on Donald Trump's watch.

I had considered purchasing an Oura ring b/c I like to collect data and health information. But . . . then I read this.

No Oura for me and I recommend everyone avoid. Save your money and stop helping the Nazis get richer.

I think Ed makes a pretty strong point here about Lindsey Halligan: She hasn't been lawfully appointed under 28 U.S.C. § 546, and as he also points out, his view is supported by a 1986 OLC opinion written by some guy named … {checks notes} … Samuel A. Alito. (1/3)

Where do I sign up?
Barbra Streisand is joining Jane Fonda and 600+ entertainment figures in re-launching the Committee for the First Amendment. Fonda announced the revival of the organization, initially founded by her father, Henry Fonda. The organization was founded in the 1940s to defend free speech against fascism.

Every time he signs one of his dumb proclamations and holds it up to the cameras from now on, everyone's going to be reminded of the Epstein birthday card.

Timeline cleanse #2:

I am fascinated by architecture and the creative abilities of architects who also must engineer safe and effective buildings.

Love the round features and curves everywhere at my hotel. Cannot find an angle anywhere!

Day and night in paradise this week. Note the fantastic "Blood Moon" . . . rare and beautiful.

No kidding.

Every authoritarian needs neutered institutions to look the other way while he dismantles democracy and fundamental freedoms. (And yes, it is always "he.")

How it started vs. How it’s going.

Turns out mocking Iowans worried about losing their health care by saying “well, we all are going to die” is not a winning message.

This line from @ositanwanevu.com's review of the new Wm F. Buckley bio is so true:

". . . the right is animated substantially, and perhaps fundamentally, by ugly and irrational prejudices"

That is why it's pointless to argue with MAGA.
