Well, little update. I made it to Virginia and have been greeted with humidity, incredible people, and tough classwork. If I can make it through the next four months, I will come out with CNC skills and certifications that can get me a stable career until the world calms down. If it ever does.

1. HRC has launched a more defiant protest tone for Pride this year.

In their campaign announced today, "These Colors Don't Run," one feature went rather viral... the image of an Eagle with progress pride flag colors, painted nails, falsies, and a harness.

It's been awhile since I've drawn anything... But, I was finally able to get a start on a split sheet for my homies, so that's a win.
Truly, madly and deeply grateful for the friends who are in my corner these days.

For no particular reason I’m posting these bumper stickers that I sell. 100% of the money gets donated to mutual aid projects and they raised over $900 last year.

Coverups are always a fun challenge, but I do take pride and always honored to cover a tattoo done by a jerk (or in this case, JK Rowling) - crouching mean lil junco torchbearer bird.

Oh my god.

They removed "transgender" from the page about Trans woman Sylvia Rivera's page at the National Park service.

"Sylvia Rivera began fighting for gay and _____ rights"

WOW.

Had these Ukiyo-e inspired pieces up at a mixed show hosted by Kowloon Studio in downtown PHX this weekend. It was a great time, very rewarding to see them all together on a wall!

This is Don Edward Talbot Hardy- DETH - tattooing Dr. John Lemmes. John wore Ed's famous squid body suit and was a somewhat infamous/dubious personality in the 1970s tattoo scene.

John and his lover Jack are part of a #queertattoo project I'll hopefully be working on in 2025.

Been slogging through some mental health junk this last week or so, it's been awhile since I painted anything. Felt like pulling teeth to get back into it, but I finished another copy of some Hardy flash. Feels silly to paint when the world is burning... But what can you do?

The most rewarding commission I've ever done, and the biggest painting I've pulled to date. Made for some very sweet friends who love Tibetan iconography ✨

Another Ed Hardy repaint!

Part of the continued studies I'm working through is recreating flash sheets made by Ed Hardy. Here's the first three, soon to be more! All done with pen nibs and acrylic ink.

Figured I should start this new account off strong with my favorite painting I've done to date. Based off of a Kuniyoshi woodblock print.
