Once upon a time a few years ago, I was coming up with a cafe menu for fun modeled after @masae.bsky.social’s branding, and got around to making two of those items. For the record, this isn’t the first time that this user was waiting for one of TheRunawayGuys to directly request a deletion of a post that’s offensive. It does not take all that to understand that “I hate this, I don’t appreciate it” = “It’s not okay to post”

Still had some miso in the fridge, and since @masae.bsky.social is streaming Cookie Clicker today, I went ahead and made almond cookies again to pay the cookie tax. 🍪

Made too much creme brulee base during Vday (we’re talking 12 extra quarts), so I decided to salvage it by turning it into a white chocolate and raspberry bread pudding for a dessert special. Normally, dessert special sales are pretty slow, but this one has been doing unexpectedly well.

Been keeping busy with work during Valentine’s Day and now that things are returning to normal, I can post pictures here haha. This is our staple dessert that we’ve been doing each February for the past three years I think. Until this year, I’ve used to have to make this for two restaurants 💀

Showing some almond cookies I made during LNY a few days ago. This recipe was pretty interesting. It had a bit of miso inside and the interior after baking turned out pretty soft and fluffy. Might see myself making more of this in the future.

Happy Lunar New Year! Spent a long time last night building some recently acquired Legos to add to the LNY collection. Fortunes are suggesting that I might be in a better spot this year so we’ll see how true that holds up lol

This art of Amaterasu was done a few years ago in the style of ink brush painting. Ōkami has a large place in my heart and the recent announcement of the sequel has me excited all over. Perhaps I’ll paint another piece like this when the game comes out. #art #okami #amaterasu

Took a few days off from looking at social media, but Happy New Year! Crushed last year’s holiday season with no issues at all, and looking forward to work even harder this year to make some cool things. I don’t have a lot of time to spare though, so even outside of work feels like a speedrun.

Yesterday marked 5 years since I formally dived in to MasaeAnela’s/Thrown Controllers community. I’ve been lurking around for years before, but never had the incentive to start online interactions back then. Now, I’m thankful to all the friends that are now part of my new life.
