Seabed miners thought they cld pay their $250k fast track fee later. EPA told them they wouldn’t look at their application until they paid.
Finally coughed up over a week later.
This company is struggling with cash - huge financial problems. This is a big 🚩🚩for the govt.

Wannabe (Australian) seabed miners Trans Tasman Resources have applied for fast-track consent to dig up 50m tonnes of the seabed a year and dump 45m tonnes back down.
By our reckoning, 9 May is when the EPA must mark the application as “complete”.
