Last month 30+ Twitch streamers came together to signal boost the endangered vaquita porpoise.

Together we raised over $14,000 to help save them!

These streams also generated 10,000+ watch hours during which MANY people learned about the vaquita for the first time!

#Dinovember Day 30: Deinocheirus!

Fun fact: This large theropod dinosaur was thought to be a vegetarian because of its duck bill and lack of teeth. Like a duck, it may have specialized in cropping and eating water plants.

That's a wrap for #Dinovember2025 !

#Dinovember Day 29: Ambopteryx!

Fun fact:  This scansoriopterygid evolved flight more like a bat than a bird, using skin membrane stretched between its hands and body to glide. Wild, right?! I know it looks like a dragon, but it was a real dinosaur!

#Dinovember Day 28: Falcarius!

Fun fact: This lithe therizinosaur was discovered about 25 years ago in two massive bone beds that have produced thousands of fossil specimens of the species, including juveniles.

Doing a little "Friendsgiving" co-working stream today! Come digest and veg out with me while I doodle dinos, derpy zoo animals, and attempt to finalize this year's Christmas card!

(here's a screenshot of the subzoo--I am quite behind this month, hope to catch up today!)

#Dinovember Day 27: Minmi!

Fun fact: This small Aussie ankylosaur has often been confused with the very similar Kunbarrasaurus and considered possibly invalid. In 2021 it was argued that it was distinct enough to be its own taxon.

Minmi also wants to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

November 27, 2025 at 8:50 PM
#Dinovember Day 26: Diplodocus

Fun fact: Famous for its long neck and tail, some paleontologists think it could use its tail as a whip.

So close to being caught up! Phew! What a month this has been. Should have today's dino posted this afternoon!

#Dinovmeber2025 Day 25: Zalmoxes!

Fun fact: Its full name is Zalmoxes robustus due to the sturdiness of its build. It was depicted in Prehistoric Planet as a tiny lil chonker and I fell in love.

I'll be finishing the rest of #dinovember today on stream: twitch.tv/kaseysnowart

#Dinovember Day 24: Pelecanimimus!

Fun fact: This Ornithomimosaur was named for its long beak and throat pouch which we know about from preserved soft tissue!

#dinovember2025 #sciart #paleoart
November 26, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Dinovember Day 23: Einiosaurus!

Fun fact: This Montana dinosaur sports a down-turned nose horn and is related to many famously hornless ceratopsians--the pachyrhinosaurs.

November 26, 2025 at 4:03 PM
#Dinovember Day 22: Ichthyovenator!

Fun fact: This spinosaurid dinosaur has an unusual neural spine shape that looks like a divot on its back. Paleontologists think this could possibly be used for display or personal identification between individuals.

November 26, 2025 at 2:16 AM
#Dinovember Day 21: Khaan!

Fun fact: This little Oviraptor from Mongolia gets its name from a Mongol word that means ruler or lord. It is also very fun to yell.

#Dinovember Day 20: Scelidosaurus!

Fun fact: In the year 2000, a nearly complete fossilized skeleton of this UK dinosaur was discovered, making it one of the best known non-avian dinosaurs in Paleontology.

#dinovember2025 #sciart #paleoart
November 23, 2025 at 4:02 PM
#Dinovember Day 19: Plateosaurus!

Fun fact: This bipedal dinosaur is a very early "sauropodomorph." It likely used its strong arms and long claws to grasp plants during feeding as well as use in self defense.

#dinovember #plateosaurus #dinosaur #jurassicpark
November 22, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Day 18: Medusaceratops!

Fun fact: Named for the drooping "snakelike" spikes on its frill, there is some debate around whether Medusaceratops might be synonymous with Lokiceratops.

("I can turn this thing on a dime!" ~Medusaceratops, probably)

#dinovember2025 #dinovember #paleoart #paleoart
November 22, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Day 17: Daemonosaurus!

Fun fact: This small and rather unusual dinosaur is known for having very large, fang-like teeth at the front of its jaws. Its name means "demon reptile."

(I wasn't as happy with this pose, but I'm almost caught up!)
