I was in Tulsa for work this week, and serendipitously was able to attend Sarah’s book signing. The book is stellar so far.
My kids were asking me for Harry Potter Trivia questions. I made up some junk, then acted indignant that they didn’t remember the scene.
Then I provided it as a prompt to AI, which barfed out a dollar-store fan fic.
Not *good*, but passable enough to troll the 9yo.

I've seen some people saying how "AI"-generated text is now as good as certain published authors, and honestly I think it's really brave for these folks to admit in public how poor their reading comprehension has to be

Ok, but. This, plus Canada and Greenland news, are an attempt to get us ok w/ the idea that maps are mutable. So we can occupy Gaza, kick Palestinians out, and “end the war in Ukraine” by condoning Putin. If we flood the news with this BS, then the other, more harmful stuff will seem equivalent.
