Sesame Street will be putting a huge collection of episodes on YouTube starting in January 2026

This is a fantastic way to educate children

It’s a form of resistance.

Shows like Sesame Street teach love, tolerance, acceptance & more.

These lessons are crucial for the long fight ahead.

I just went over to YouTube to find myself a bedtime story and found that @hcrichardson.bsky.social has released a new series: The Declaration in Action, featuring 10 excellent American women. What a wonderful surprise, and wonderful stories!

Does your rep do anything like this? If not, why not?

In honor of my late, great father on Father's Day, I'd like to share my story, "Things We Lost When Dad Died," which was published by Great Lakes Review last summer. Love you, Dad.

A couple summers ago, I wrote a flash CNF piece, “Robotic Bees Don’t Say Ope,” inspired by a couple of science news stories, and was delighted to have it appear in Star 82 Review.

Here it is again in a Summer Reading Anthology from the same publication!

In this essay for Longreads, I wrote about a jumping spider who I found in my beehive and named Dot. I was so excited to find another one under the lid today! A little shyer, but still so beautiful.

I'm so excited to have worked with Brevity Blog!

With thanks to the science teachers of my youth, I discuss writing about nature and advocating for climate action from a non-expert perspective. Science is essential to the effort, but so is love. I can write about love.
Kasey Butcher Santana explores how writing about nature, the "crisp smell of forest floor, the slip of mud beneath my shoes, and the surprise of a roly-poly beneath the log," opens our eyes to climate change. With prompts and activities. brevity.wordpress.com/2025/04/02/a...
